 A solid piece of furniture May 25, 2010
I'm very happy with the Ottoman Bench with storage. I was able to clear out a corner full of clutter and store it in the bench and it is very sturdy.

I bought this bench for our office and it's a wow factor. It's just so classy and beautiful. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because there is a little threading that is visible next to one of the bottons and the delivery time was over 2 weeks. I guess they have to process the order which takes a week and another week for delivery or something. All in all I love this bench and the seat stays open without you have to hold it which is a wonderful plus.

Great price, high quality, beautiful, I bought two Mar 09, 2010
I bought two of these Black Bycast Leatherette Ottoman Benches with storage to put under windows on either side of the fireplace.
The price was perfect. I had been shopping everywhere (local and Internet) and even WITH the shipping, these were fine pieces of furniture and cheaper. I wanted extra seating for those special events, but didn't want any rocking chairs in the living room and wanted to be a bit classier than going to the closet and grabbing folding chairs each time. These ottomans are perfect for temporary sitting arrangements for bigger parties, they look good and are very comfortable to sit on. In fact, I get comments that...man, those are good ideas, they get the job done and have a good look.
But what makes them even nicer is that they hold a lot - as in, cleaning up the clutter, I can put an Xbox inside with all of those controllers, DVDs, wires, couch blankets, snuggies, and all of that miscellaneous junk and mess of wires. When people find out they hold a lot in storage, they are even more intrigued and ask where I got them.
Definitely very happy with these 2 purchases. Amazon is great as usual. P.S. I don't think anyone knows they aren't real leather, they look great.

Would be 5 stars except I thought it was brown, not black May 02, 2009
This is a great ottoman, to be honest. Roomy storage-wise, good height to sit on, looks nice, easy to put together. I am very happy with it. I am just bummed because it is black, not brown, and I like brown better. I looked at the picture without reading the title (new black bycast ottoman...) and was surprised when it arrived. Luckily in the room it's in, black is OK. Otherwise, this is a great ottoman and a good price.

This is a great piece. So versatile. I use it as an ottoman, bench, storage and offee table. The lid is super cushy whether you're resting your feet or sitting on it. And it looks fabulous. Additionally the lid has a hinge that does not allow the lid to fall my itself. Nice and safe for hands! When I had it delivered to my job it got rave reviews. Everyone wanted one!
